for us 9 am is an early start.but today no regrets-sunshine and
summer (north european) -temperatures around 20 degrees.
it only lasted till early afternoon-the sun only has to fart on holland
and its ,beautiful girls on bikes in skimpy dresses,
trendy mothers wheeling prams to vondelpark ,drug dealers
in open top cars,young tourists on rented bikes.
we work our shitty bukowski part time job,so no time for
superficiality..
only the mouse that seemed to be sunbathing,if only in mouse heaven.
sleep well,my little friend,and be reborn as a cat in amsterdam.

nighttime walks around town reveal many surprises.
we like this stuff and the people responsible-
faceless art vigilantes

we have learnt that the dutch
prefer growing weeds to growing flowers.
in a radical break from local custom,
gidionics first gardening experiment
combines sunflowers WITH weeds.
as simple country folk,this spot of
gardening also reaffirms our rural
connections

we finally attend an evening of VPRO dutch radio's live show
"club 3 voor 12" and decide to make this a regular wednesday
activity.good venue,nice people and eclectic mix of live local/
international bands.
